JASMIN HANNAH SUTHERLAND

I am an Edinburgh based visual artist and photographer.  I have an MFA from Edinburgh College of Art.

My work has a personal starting point and is created in response to particular props and objects, the female figure, specific spaces and environments. I draw on memory, childhood and the unconscious as part of this process.

 While photographing I experiment with and manipulate my images in order to achieve as finished a result as possible at this stage.

I mainly work from my studio at home, as well as collaborating with other artists.
