Rose Mirrror Rose is inspired by different Brothers Grimm fairytales including ‘Sleeping Beauty’ or ‘Briar Rose’. It is created in collaboration with Chloe Milner, also an Edinburgh based artist. I stitched these material roses onto this dress as a way of exploring the theme of being or feeling stuck, weighed down, imprisoned behind a wall or hedge of thicket of rose bushes.
